Charity fundraising - Host an event

Socialise for a good cause! Organising a cake and coffee morning, host a quiz at your local pub or a comedy night in a local venue is a great way to raise funds for Action4Youth and bring the community together.

The Buckinghamshire Way

Walk the Buckinghamshire Way  to change young lives in Buckinghamshire!

Action4Youth is here for every child & young person throughout the whole of Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes so this feels like a fitting challenge!

We work to ensure that all have the chance to enter adulthood as positive, confident members of our community. No–one should be abandoned, deprived of hope, opportunity or aspiration.

The Buckinghamshire Way  is long-distance walking route along the length of Buckinghamshire.  The route starts close to the southernmost point of the traditional county in Hythe End and finishes at the northern limit of Lavendon. It is 88 miles (142 km) in length!

What next?

We challenge you to set up a fundraising page, ask your friends, famiy, company and work colleagues to sponsor you and then getting walking!

Do it your way!

Your challenge can take many forms!

  • Cover sections of the walk over a series of weekends or a month
  • Cover the distance virtually instead
  • Do it alone or with family, friend or colleagues
  • Walk, cycle or run!
  • Track your route on strava

We are very grateful and humbled by the generosity and kindness shown by amazing people, organisations and trusts who support us.
